Vedi Verde means “see green” – a reminder of our mission to bring sustainability to the forefront of construction. We make sustainability compliance simple, transparent, and engaging, empowering every stakeholder to make smarter decisions and contribute to a greener built environment.
Meet the founder
Maria Volpe is the founder of Vedi Verde. She combines hands-on BIM coordination experience from large-scale infrastructure projects with expertise in sustainability, digital construction, openBIM, lifecycle information management and construction technology.
Maria has worked with model-based delivery in complex infrastructure environments, contributing to digital workflows, multidisciplinary coordination and structured project information.
She is also Domain Lead for the Sustainability Domain at buildingSMART Norway, where she works to connect sustainability, open standards and structured information across the built environment.
Through Vedi Verde, Maria is building a company focused on making sustainability data easier to understand, trust and use across construction, real estate and infrastructure.

AI Expertise
Berna Shalci is Vedi Verde’s AI expert, bringing a strong technical foundation in applied artificial intelligence, computer vision and real-time data systems. She holds a master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Agder.
Berna contributes to our work at the intersection of AI, BIM, sustainability data and digital construction. Her expertise supports our ambition to make complex building information easier to structure, analyze, validate and use across the lifecycle of buildings and infrastructure.
